How overnight swaps work
- A swap (rollover) is debited or credited when you hold a position past 22:00 GMT rollover.
- Swaps depend on the interest-rate differential of the pair and your direction (long or short).
- Triple swap (3×) is usually charged on Wednesday nights to cover the weekend.
- With leverage up to 1:2000, small nightly swaps can add up over days or weeks of holding.
- A swap-free (Islamic) option removes overnight interest on eligible instruments.
